A thorough periodontal evaluation is done annually by Dr. Harman with use of periodontal probing and x rays. This allows us to determine your "gum health" and diagnose any bone loss and loose teeth. The earlier we find these problems we can treat them with a "deep cleaning" along with antimicrobial mouth rinse local antibiotics, to stabilize your oral condition.

Arestin:

To keep fighting bacteria in any stubborn periodontal pockets, Arestin is placed. This is a localized antibiotic (minocycline), painlessly placed under the gum, to treat the area of infection. This helps kill bacteria that underlie periodontal disease to stabilize your oral health.
